I met Lilian for the first time in London in the mid 90’s, when we were working for the China-Britain Business Council in Shanghai and London respectively. Lilian helped numerous UK companies with their China related projects.

Anything relating to Shanghai, we were teamed, like when she put together and brought to China the UK Building Materials Trade Mission, and launched the UK Building Materials Centre in Shanghai. Over the years, Lilian has always shown her passion, knowledge, understanding and communication skills, on work, and on works in China.

Our friendship remains, and moves on – not only by sharing happy memories, but also by sharing with and updating each other on the very happenings both in China and Europe.

I am deeply impressed how Lilian is well informed of day-to-day happenings in China and equipped in sharing these with Europeans and businesses. I am sure that Lilian is going to be ‘teamed’ with China for a long, long time. One will surely benefit from these deep involvements and her comprehensive experience.
